- I am 26, married, no children. Dogs are my children, I love them whether they are mine or someone else's. I am deaf since age 4. I read lips, speak, and sign. I have two Cochlear Implants. My husband is hearing as is my family, my friends are both hearing and deaf. God is my hero. I am spiritual, not religious. I am independent, strong willed, free spirit who thinks for herself. I am a star who shines far above the hard earth called Life by the hand of God. Though I often fall and begin to fade, God catches me and puts me in His pocket, He never lets me fade away. With His help, I always rise again and shine my light upon the world! That's why I decided to call my blog "The Falling Star". I am a very honest and open person, so I hold nothing back when I write. In this blog I share the deepest parts of me, baring all. The only things I don't post are entries which are potentially incriminating for myself or others, or those that are rather boring. Enjoy!
